Aldi Colway Real Mayonnaise is subject to a recall by the NSW Food Authority in Australia. A warning has been issued about all batches of the 466g jars of the product. This is due to fears over the packaging, with warnings the jars have a “potential for glass breakage”. Consumers have been warned not to eat the product, and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Pushing out the warning on Twitter, NSW Food Authority wrote: “ALDI is recalling Colway Real Mayonnaise 466 g from all ALDI stores.

The result was a fast sweep of recalling many products across the country.

Following the recall in Texas, GH Foods recalled ready-to-eat salads sold at Whole Foods in California.

Moments later, the sweep of recalls spread to Idaho, Oregon and Washington, where cooked chicken products were taken off the shelves by Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods.

The recalls didn’t stop there, with GH Foods and GHSE recalling 738 pounds worth of Marketside Fiesta Salad. The salads are sold in Florida, Georgie and South Carolina.
